Kill Switch
A kill switch stops the whole agent path at once, independent of the model. When errors repeat or cost crosses a ceiling, someone must be able to shut the system off.

A kill switch is not an approval gate: the gate holds one action; the switch closes every run. It is a crisis tool, not a daily setting.
It must work outside the model. A switch that asks the model “should I stop?” is not a switch.
