Active Customer
An active customer is a customer who has made at least one purchase in a defined time window. The definition of that window differs by company and must be stated explicitly.
Also called مشتری فعال
The choice of window has a direct effect on the final number: a three-month window produces fewer active customers than a six-month window. Comparing two companies, or even two reports from one company, is meaningless unless the definition is the same.
In distribution, this metric is usually measured at the “door” (delivery point), not at the legal-entity level, because one chain may have dozens of delivery points.
