Agentic AI

Agentic AI is an approach in which the system takes responsibility for completing a task instead of producing an answer. The main difference from conventional AI is the ability to act, not the ability to reply.

Also called هوش مصنوعی عامل‌محور

In conventional use, AI is a tool in the user’s hands: you ask, you get an answer, and you decide what to do with it. In the agentic approach, part of the decision and execution process itself is handed to the system.

That difference has clear operational consequences. An agentic system must connect to the organization’s real data, must be able to act in other systems, and above all must have a control mechanism, because a system that does work is not usable in an organization without control.

For businesses, the value of this approach is in removing the in-between work: the work that sits between “the data exists” and “the decision was executed,” and that is done by hand today.

Common questions

How is agentic AI different from automation?
Automation repeats a predefined path; an agentic system chooses the path according to the situation.
Where should we start?
With a process that is repeatable, whose data already exists, and where an error is recoverable.
