Sales Uplift

Sales uplift is the difference between campaign-period sales and the baseline, relative to the baseline. It differs from simple growth in that it compares against the hypothetical “if there had been no campaign,” not against the prior period.

Also called افزایش واقعی فروش

Formula: (campaign-period sales minus baseline) divided by baseline, times one hundred.

Two practical points that are usually missed: the measurement window must cover **pre-campaign stockpiling** (when the customer delayed a purchase because they knew a discount was coming) and **post-campaign drop** (when the customer bought several months of stock and does not order the next month). Without those, part of what is counted as “uplift” is only a shift in purchase timing.
